Ok so i was at wal-mart picking some things up for my mom before i left so that she would have them because at the time she couldnt drive. She was in the hospital for a day and was on pain meds still. so she gave me her card to use because mine is MIA, but thats another story, anyways i used her card and i was wearing man pants with huge pockets and after paying i stuck the card in my pocket so i am guessing when i went to get back into my car the card fell out and i didnt notice. i drove all the way to the bank and realized that i no longer had the card so i looked like a crazy women looking for this card i came to the conclusion that it wasnt in my car and i called wal-mart. They told me that they had it and i said great i will be right there and i drove as fast as i could and stood in line at customer service where they told me that they did not have my card and that the lady who found told them that she wanted to give it back personally. at this point i am ticked off at wal-mart for telling me that they had it, they did not take her number and at this lady who has my moms card and is some where at the store. they paged her and paged her and paged her and then they tell me that most likely she left. i give them my number and tell them to call me if she comes back. i call my mom and explain what happened and she is going to put a hold on the card for the time being. so i am on the way back to the bank when my mom calls and tells me that the lady called her and called her rude that she should be lucky that she found it and not some creep on the street type thing so my mom asks where she is so that I can come and get the card then i guess thats when the name calling began the lady asked why she couldnt come get it herself and why she was allowing me to use the card and blah blah blah anyways the lady found me on myspace and asked me if i lost the card i said yes and why my mom would call her rude and i shot back with what did she do and she replies with this:
Well, my fiance and I were out running errands when we decided to stop at Wal-Mart for a couple things. Upon getting out of the car, we noticed a Wells Fargo bank card laying helplessly on the ground in the middle of the parking lot.


We picked it up...."Alisa *****" ....We asked a few people who happened to be milling around if their name was Alisa to see if the card belonged to them....NOPE. Soooooo we went inside the Wal-Mart and stood in line at Customer Service to ask if they could page the person who owned the card...maybe they had dropped it on their way in to the store and were shopping around.....??? After waiting in line for several minutes, they paged them. We waited around to see if they'd show, but they never did.


We decided to call the 800# on the back of the card and alert the bank that we had found one of their customers cards and that it most likely needed to be canceled so that it didn't fall into the wrong hands. After waiting for FOREVER to speak to someone, FINALLY I was connected....I explained the situation, but instead of just canceling the card, the CSR took down my info so that she could attempt to contact the card owner so that we could somehow rendezvous to get the card back to it's owner. Fine with us.


We continued on with our day running errands when we got a call from Wells Fargo with the card holder on the line....The customer service rep had explained to her that we found her card and contacted them to get in touch with her.


I said "Hello Alisa, how are you doin'?"

Instead of excitement in her voice at the prospect of getting her card back, she VERY RUDELY barked at me for mispronouncing her name.


Surprised, I quickly apologized and attempted to pronounce it correctly and asked her how we could get her card back to her.


She went on to accuse me of stealing her card and said that I had taken it out of the wal-mart on purpose and she demanded to know where I was. I told her that was ridiculous and that I had gone completely out of my way to get her card back to her...she didn't want to hear it, kept trash talking me over the phone and I finally just hung up on her.

That last part is the best i think. for those of you who know my mom she doesnt have mental health issues. i write this to ask help. i would like to know what i should reply back with. I thank you for all your help!
